Hilltop was a complete kitchen remodel completed for a real estate investor in Colorado Springs.
One of the biggest challenges was the original layout. A load-bearing wall separated the kitchen from the adjoining space, leaving only a narrow 32-inch doorway. We removed the wall and installed a properly supported LVL beam and posts to carry the structural load, allowing us to dramatically open the space and completely change the feel and functionality of the home.
With the new layout established, the kitchen was rebuilt with new cabinetry, tile flooring, backsplash, and granite countertops. We completed the project alongside skilled trade partners, including plumbing, electrical, and drywall professionals. The structural changes did more than update the kitchen – they created a more open, connected space that helped modernize the entire home.
