This Colorado Springs project began as a whole-home remodel for an investor and grew into a full duplex conversion. The original property was an older single-family home near downtown, and the goal was to completely modernize the existing residence while adding a second living unit to the rear with alley-access parking.
Inside the original home, we opened the kitchen, dining, and living areas to improve the flow and change the overall feel of the space. The remodel included new cabinetry, a new color scheme, custom tile countertops and flooring, updated bathrooms, and a conversion from an existing tub/shower to a custom walk-in shower. The bathrooms also included custom tile surrounds and poured shower pans.
The finished project combined a major renovation with new living space, turning an aging single-family property into two updated homes while making better use of the existing site and alley access.
